About Phillipa…

I am from Cornwall and will be based across Devon and Cornwall. I have lived in Cornwall most of my life and enjoy the micro climates and coast lines of the South West. I have over 15 years experience in the equine industry. I finished Bicton College in 2002 and then graduated from Hartpury College in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science. I have had numerous equine jobs that range from working at a top stud with Olympic stallions in Gloucester to working in a riding/livery yard in Cornwall.

I have spent the last 10 years teaching and being a Team Lead in Animal Science at Duchy College. I have just recently left this position to follow my dream of working as a Veterinary Physiotherapist. I am currently now studying an MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy at Writtle University College in partnership with the NAVP. Alongside this I am also working at a veterinary hospital (which has just been voted the Best UK Vets 2017 and Best Equine Vets 2017: Penmellyn Vets) which is brilliant as no day is ever the same with lots of interesting and different cases walking through the door.

I have a working Cocker Spaniel that will be out working for her first season this year. Any spare time I get is spent gun dog training and studying!
